Company Information
That Kitchen Shop was founded as "Kitchen & Company" in 1982 in Seattle, opening its first store at South Center Mall. In 1987 & 1991, new stores were opened in Northgate & Alderwood Malls making "Kitchen & Company" one of the largest kitchenware retailer in Seattle.
In May, 2001, entrepreneur Dave Jennings purchased the company, revitalized it and re-branded it as That Kitchen Shop, a place to shop for all of us who love to cook! The company revealed a more contemporary look, with an efficient shopping design, inviting, warm & friendly environment in its re-branding.
In 2004, Dave decided to open That Kitchen Shop Cabinets. His idea was to bring two of the major aspects of your kitchen together; the kitchenware and the space where you put them.
"Because we have sold every gadget that goes into a kitchen we can design your kitchen with an understanding that gives you more value for your dollar." - Dave Jennings
